Working for Antonelli is becoming an extended member of the Antonelli family.

Roland Antonelli
The Chairman
Along with his two brothers, Roland was a founding member of Antonelli Bros after they decided to break away from the family biscuit company, IBC, in 1961 to specialise in ice cream cones.
Although Roland officially retired in 1997, leaving the business in the hands of his sons, he still remains involved. From time to time he can be found in the office, “just to keep in touch,” as he says – after all, the business is as much his baby as anyone’s.
Mark Antonelli
Sales Director
Having grown up around the ice cream cone business, Mark gained experience in sales outside the industry before joining the family company.
Now, with over 20 years’ experience in the business and as Joint Managing Director alongside David, Mark is responsible for sales and technical support for customers producing ice cream, and knows the market inside out.
David Antonelli
Prodcution Director
David has loved ice cream cones since he was a boy but initially pursued his interest in engineering. After a period in the army, followed by participation in the Sainsbury’s graduate scheme, he joined the family business.
Now, with over 30 years’ experience and as Joint Managing Director alongside Mark, David oversees cone production with military precision.
Gary Brooks
Customer Service Manager
Gary has been with Antonelli for over 10 years. His experience as National Sales Manager proved invaluable when he took on the role of Customer Service Manager.
With many years of sales experience in the food industry, he brings valuable insight and ideas to the team. Gary is passionate about maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring that customers remain at the heart of the business.
Jonnathan Ireland
National Sales & Technical Manager
Jonnathan is a charismatic individual who enjoys engaging with others. Since joining Antonelli, he progressed from Northern Sales Manager to National Technical Manager – key stepping stones that led to his current position in 2025.
Jonny’s strong understanding of the technical aspects of ice cream, combined with his appreciation of customers’ needs and close relationships across the Antonelli team, places him in a great position to support the Sales and Technical Managers in looking after customers across the UK and Ireland.
Michelle Williams
Regional Manager – Midlands & Wales
With 30 years of sales management experience, Michelle has a wealth of expertise working with independent businesses. During her 10 years at Antonelli, she has built an excellent reputation for customer care and professionalism.
Michelle is passionate about looking after people and delivering a high level of customer service – an approach that closely reflects the Antonelli philosophy.

Patrick Whipps
Regional Manager – North
Patrick, as anyone who meets him quickly realises, is Australian through and through, having moved to the UK for the love of a good woman. He brings great energy and professionalism to the Antonelli team.
With previous experience in the food sector in Australia working with well-known global brands, Patrick is now enjoying learning all there is to know about the ice cream and gelato industry. He understands that Antonelli is here to deliver value and quality to ice cream businesses – from producers and wholesalers to retailers.
