Antonelli is pleased to announce the launch of a new range of ingredients for making ice cream. GIUSO (pronounced like Juice with an ‘o’ sound at the end) is a long established Italian flavour house born from a strong fruit heritage. GIUSO has been in business for over 100 years. With a family heritage much like our own, todays GIUSO product range is founded on the fruit industry, based around the orchards of Northern Italy. The family behind GIUSO used their orchard fruits initially to create jams and candied fruits. Over decades of hard work and product development the GIUSO business is now a leader in ice cream ingredients with a focus on natural and fruit flavours. Antonelli is pleased to be the sole UK distributor for GIUSO providing our customers with a wider variety of product styles for making ice cream.
How does the GIUSO range fit with other Antonelli ice cream ingredients?
As most people already know, Antonelli has been the sole UK distributor for MEC3 ice cream ingredients for over a decade. The GIUSO range brings a different style to that of MEC3. Not all ice cream manufacturers require products of the same quality or price bracket represented by MEC3. This range has been added to the Antonelli portfolio of quality ingredients providing those making ice cream with more choice. GIUSO expands our range with an extra fifty or so products including a wider variety in style.
The GIUSO range provides some different flavours, as well as a comprehensive selection of the products you would expect to find for making ice cream. There is an opportunity to come and taste some of these flavours on the 11th, 12th or 13th February, at the ICA’s Ice Cream and Artisan Food Show held at the Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. By adding these GIUSO products to the Antonelli range we are enabling you to have a wider selection of ice cream making ingredients to achieve your special recipes.
